如果我有大爷的话……

今天去参加了一个中央情报局的校园招聘信息会。在讲到探员待遇的时候情报官员特别指出，如果候选人会说中文，阿拉伯语，波斯语，俄语和朝鲜语中的任何一种，根据熟练程度立刻会给予高达三万5千美元（20余万人民币）的签约奖励。顿时，我心中一种按耐不住的民族自豪感迸发而出。

The great American environmentalist Rob Watson of EcoTech concluded the following about Mother Nature during an interview with my favourite New York Times coclumnist Thomas L. Friedman, who included it in his latest book " Hot Flat and Crowded - Why we need a green revolution and how it can renew America" and I quote:

 

"[Mother Nature] is just chemistry, biology, and physics" Watson likes to say. "Everything she does is just the sum of those three things. She's completely amoral. She doesn't care about poetry or art or whether you go to church. You can't negotiate with her, and you can't spin her and you can't evade her rules. All you can do is fit in as a species. And when a species doesn't learn to fit in with Mother Nature, it gets kicked out." It's that simple, says Watson, and that's why "every day you look in the mirror now, you're seeing an endangered species."

This is what happens when you have the largest population in the world that severely lacks of basic civility education under the shadow of the subject blog title...
